PearHack Systems (“PearHack,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in connection with the Services operated from the United States.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account Data: email address; password hash; subscription plan; support communications.
  • Payment Data: processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers. Stripe’s terms and privacy apply.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device/browser information, logs (e.g., access timestamps, diagnostic data), and limited usage analytics.
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: to maintain sessions and improve the Services.

2. How We Use Information

  • To provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • To process payments, subscriptions, and account management;
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and violations of our policies;
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

3. Sharing of Information

  • No sale of personal information.
  • Service Providers: e.g., Stripe (payments), hosting, analytics, and security vendors under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal & Safety: to comply with law, lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of PearHack, users, or the public.

4. Data Security; Retention

We employ reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data; however, no system is 100% secure. We retain information as needed for the purposes described, consistent with legal and operational requirements, and then delete or anonymize it.

5. International Use

Our systems are hosted in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S., which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.

6. Your Choices

  • You may update limited account information through your account.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time (no refunds).
  • Where required by law (e.g., certain U.S. state laws or the GDPR, if applicable), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to restrict/opt out of certain processing. To exercise, contact [email protected]. We will verify and respond as required.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us.

8. Do Not Track; Cookies

We do not respond to Do Not Track signals. You can manage cookies via browser settings; disabling cookies may limit functionality.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use indicates acceptance.
